What tools do I use?
Wood therapy has its roots in traditional techniques used in various cultures around the world. The history of wood therapy dates back thousands of years when wooden rollers and tools were used for muscle relaxation and improving circulation. This method was passed down from generation to generation and was adapted and refined in different regions.
Lymphatic roller (rolling pin)
Lymfatický válec, aktivuje lymfatický systém. Dále je s jeho pomocí stimulován periferní nervový systém. Tento válec se používá na přední, vnitřní a vnější stranu stehna.
Bells
Bells are a crucial tool in wood therapy. We use two types of bells. The first one is called a roller, which is designed to stimulate blood flow and warm up the skin. This prepares the skin for the work with the second type of bell. With the second bell, we can create a vacuum, allowing us to reach deep into the subcutaneous tissue and effectively combat cellulite. The vacuum bell is a tool that should definitely be part of wood therapy because it allows us to observe the most significant changes.
Rolling pin
The dough roller is a type of lymphatic roller. Just like the 'téčko,' it activates the lymphatic system and stimulates the peripheral nervous system. The only difference is the area where we use the roller. Compared to the 'téčko,' with the dough roller, we can apply more pressure, making it ideal for use on the buttocks and the back of the thighs.
